"Son" Fisher Ministries

"Teaching a better way for life" as we have on the front page isn't just about horsemanship. "Son" Fisher Ministries came to be as a result of traveling to clinics and events on the weekends and finding out that there were people there that shared our faith in Jesus Christ and wanted to have Cowboy Church services during the events. It is also our duty to share the Gospel with others,  so bringing  people to the knowledge of what Jesus Christ did for everyone on the cross at these events just comes naturally. Once a person accepts Christ as their Lord and Saviour, "a better way" doesn't even begin to cover it!

We should all be "Son-Fishers"

If you have spent any amount of time around old cowboys or seasoned horse trainers, you have more than likely heard a horse referred to as a "sunfisher."  This comes from when a horse rears up so high that it looks as if he is reaching for the sun and chasing the after the light. With a little play on words to fit with a western theme for cowboys and horses, it seemed fitting that we should all be reaching for the "Son" and living to chase "truth and light"- John 3:21.

Coming to know the Son- the "better way"

John 3:16- "For God so loved the world that He gave is only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 6: 23- "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ."
If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, accepting him and becoming a born again Christian is as simple as A,B,C-
Admit that you are a sinner;
Believe that Jesus can forgive you of your sins, through his shed blood on the cross;
Confess your sins to Him and confess Him before men.
Sinner's prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, lost without You.  Forgive me of my sins, cleanse my heart, and come into my life so that I may live for You, as you died for me."

Yes, it's that simple for you to have eternal life, but more importantly, to live the "better way" of life-
a life of forgiveness, freedom, and grace.  You did not come across this site by accident and you are not alone!
